We are proud to announce The Computer Forensics Show, October 5-6, 2009 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA.
For some companies, it is not a question if one of their computers will be used as evidence in a legal matter; it is a question of when. Like it or not, every computer is a potential crime scene and must be treated with care.
Today’s business environment continues to become more and more complex with strict regulatory and compliance requirements, increased scrutiny and the ever-present threat of litigation. Because most information today is created and available only in an electronic format, electronic data and the ability to properly address it in a defensible manner is increasingly critical. IT Security and Computer Forensics are vital to any individual, company, or law practice dealing with sensitive information stored on digital media.
The Computer Forensics Show will meet the needs of industry professionals by providing detailed information regarding the changes and advancements in the IT security marketplace.
The event will highlight exhibits from some of the leading companies in the industry, complemented by a comprehensive conference program with the involvement of well known companies in the computer forensics industry such as: Kroll Ontrack Inc, McAfee Corporation, SanDisk Corporation, Symantec Corporation, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, Clearwell Systems Inc, HBGary Inc, Guidance Software Inc and EMC Corporation.
Our conference will provide attendees with an important information about the latest technological advancement, ideas and practical information available today. Conference participants will learn how the computer forensics science could successfully save organizations millions in litigation costs and, in some cases, its reputation
The Computer Forensics Show conference will focus in-depth on topics of interest to legal, risk management, and accounting professionals, as well as the IT sector, and features five conference tracks including:
Legal (A) Track – EDD, including Litigation and Best Practice Issues.
Legal (B) Track – Emerging Technologies/Litigation, Data/Records Management, Reporting, and Privacy.
Forensic Accounting Track – Fraud, Financial Investigations, Compliance, Best Practices, Litigation. Forensic accounting is the number one growing field in accounting today.
IT Security Track – For organizations that are just beginning to encounter security issues and deals with more broad issues effecting organizations today.
IT Security (Advanced) Track – Encompasses more complex and in-depth issues and can highlight the need for additional training.
